How much does it cost?

It is free to register with Easy School Website and there is no set-up fee. Once you have built your website and are ready to publish to the internet, you can select from the following options:

  • 1 year subscription - £150
  • 2 years subscription - £250
  • 3 years subscription - £300

Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.

What does the annual subscription fee cover?

The annual fee allows you to publish your website to the web and covers all hosting and technical support.

Is there a set-up fee?

No. Easy School Website is designed to allow schools to set-up their own website and all the tools to help do this are provided as part of the annual fee.

How much does it cost to register?

Registration is free. Any school can register and set-up a site for free with no obligation to pay until they want their site to go live.

What if I set-up a site but decide not to go ahead with publishing it?

As part of our no obligation to pay commitment, if you set-up a site and then decide not to proceed with going live and publishing it to the web you pay nothing. The unpublished site and all content will be removed from our database upon your request and you will not receive sales calls from us.

Are there hidden costs?

No. The annual subscription fee is the only charge we make for use of Easy School Website.

What will my school’s web-address be?

Easy School Website web-addresses are made up of two parts; Your unique school name (that you can pick when you publish your website) followed by either 'Schools.uk.com' or 'EasySchoolWebsite.com'. For example Castle Primary School in Oldtown may have an address such as:

  • CastlePrimary.Schools.uk.com
  • CastleSchool.Schools.uk.com
  • CastlePrimaryOldTown.Schools.uk.com
  • CastlePrimary.EasySchoolWebsite.com
  • CastleSchool.EasySchoolWebsite.com
  • CastlePrimaryOldTown.EasySchoolWebsite.com

Or, you can of course use your existing web address if you've already got one registered.

My school already has a web-address, can we keep this and will it still work?

Yes. If you already have a registered web address it can be redirected so that it points to your Easy School Website. Simply tell us what your existing website address is and we'll setup everything up to work with your address once you're ready. The redirect has to be set up by the company you registered the address with and in a certain way, but we can provide you with written instructions to pass on to them and this is generally very simple to do.

What about email?

Easy School Website does not provide an email service, but if you already have a registered domain name, you can easily point this to your Easy School Website without affecting your existing email provision.

Will my school’s data be secure?

Yes. We are registered under the data protection act and data security is a priority to us.

Do you need previous experience of building websites?

No. Easy School Website has been designed specifically for users with no prior experience.

Who can register?

Anyone can register and begin building their schools website.

How do you verify that people registering are working with the school’s permission?

Websites can only be published to the web once full payment is made. Furthermore, and to make sure that a site has been created with the School’s permission we post a form to the school that must be signed by the Head-teacher and returned. If this form is not returned then the site will be unpublished from the web.
